Specialized Upset Prevention and Recovery Training

S-UPRT

The #1 cause of fatalities the world over in aviation is loss of control – inflight (LOC-I). The universally accepted solution to this problem is Upset Prevention and Recovery Training (UPRT). Basic UPRT is now required by the FAA and EASA. However, research has shown that the required training is not enough. Pilots must train in flight in aircraft similar to those they fly on a regular basis. Whether its jets, turboprops, piston twins or helicopters, UPRT must be specialized to the pilot. That is where AO’s Specialized Upset Prevention and Recovery Training (SUPRT, pronounced “Super T”) comes in. AO has access to a fleet of aircraft like no other. Your flight department flies high and fast airplanes – try training with our CF-5D aircraft. You fly turboprops – we have King Airs and Tucano’s suited for your training. You fly transport jets – we have especially suited jets to train your department. And last but certainly not least - train with our specialized helicopter pilots for rotary wing UPRT. We will provide the specialized training you need to deal with the #1 cause of fatalities in aviation.
